update on my Kevins visit to VA hospital

OK, this is what I got from my Kevins visit to the VA hospital. For one thing he was in there for 3 hours and you can imagine my fears as the minutes went on and on and on. Doc said the almost plugged artery is starting to dissolve and the all plugged artery which was completely blocked is now letting blood through and has gotten smaller. He didi have a small stroke but has 95 percent recovery on that. Doc put him on 4 new perscriptions all of which the VA hospital will send to him in the mail. I just do not understand why they can't just give him tha drugs on the spot but no they have to send them  via the postal service. After I calmed down about the med situation I found out why they send the meds instead of handing them over. This is the way to make sure the vet that takes the meds, get the meds. they verify the address by sending the meds. Anyway so much for that part. His diet has been cut down even further to on,y 10% fat for the whole day and Doc wants to see him in 2 weeks for a bood check and he wants Kev to lose at least 5 lbs in the weeks. Kevin is also to start increasing his 1 mile walk everyday to work up to 2 miles in the 2 weeks. I am so beyond relieved, I have cryed the entire morning and I just feel exhausted. He is so lucky to have escaped a fatal heart attack and or a fatal stroke. He is beyond thankful to God for sparing his life. Now, now you know practice makes perfect so get your daughter there and you will learn it fast as can be.....

WRITE SOMETHING IN NOTEPAD 

left click hightlight move the darn mouse over what you wrote

right click to copy.

right click paste and there it is 

YO SHEILA 

then to make sure I cleared it from my mouse I copy it again as my lovely mouse store stuff

is go to start and see note pad left click on the mouse to bring notepad up

 in response to Starshine...   NOw, NOw, NOW, Patti, I just can't get my little hands to click down on one and use the other fingers to click on the second button. I have tried so many times and I don't see how you guys can blue out a few sentences and then stic them somewhere else. If this thing doesn't work with my Brenna then I will either find a book on it or take private lessons. There I said it. You will be the first one that gets a paste and cut from me smarty pants  sheshe030

YOU JUST NEED YOUR DAUGHTER TO SHOW YOU HOW TO DO IT OR ADULT ED COMPUTER CLASS CAN TEACH YOU HOW TO DO THIS. I KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS AND WE WILL TRY AGAIN.. HEY DON'T FEEL BAD AS I CAN'T MERGER WHAT EVER THAT IS I LEARNED IN COMPUTER CLASS IF YOU PAID ME....WELL MAYBE IF IT WAS ENOUGH MONEY I COULD TRY LOL ...LOVE YOU..

I think every one on aidpage that has voulteered to teach me how to copy and paste just wonder off with a glazed look in their tyes. The biggest part t don't understand is trying to let that second click on the right hand side. It would help me so much more if you could write me out on a piece of paper or if you could say *in laymens terms and list everything I should do from start to finish including where to click and or double click. Name the keys so I won't screw up. Anyway , maybe you dould diagrahm it all on the computer and then I can print it out. What a wonderful idea huh?I want to learn so bad but I just dont't get how you press down the first buttom and then double click on the second. I lose alsmot all the script if I do that. OJ yes Bennie girl I would love to have a skimatic so you could se my ittle Ruby and my grandaughters etc.

 in response to CATLUV...   OOOOhhh thankyou my dear love. You are so considerate and it's so rare to have someone that I can really count, someone that does what she says she will do. Anyway our Ruby looks like avery other pug but she has a show face and head but her bocy is a tad to big for show but her little face is fab. She follows dad all day long and she can barely move because of her bad hips but she just scoots along. I can't send any pics Brenna as I have never learned how to get a pic onto the computer and then onto aidpage. I have pics on my computer I just need to learn how to gt them to you on the computer. How are you doing honey I hope you aren't in to  much pain. YOU know I love you and would do anything  for you just call my name and you know where ever I am I'll come runnin. /winter Spring, summer or fall---you gotta friend. peace, love and laughter  Mamashe

Keeping you two in my thoughts and prayers ... I am so glad to hear that Kevin is improving, I can't imagine how scary, stressful and exhausting everything

has been recently - for both of you.  Let me know if i can do anything to make your life a bit easier. Oh, and could you send me or download those pictures

of your babies when you get the time?  --- So I can start working towards a pen and ink ... also need a little insight into the dogs personalities, what they loved

to do, their favorite things, etc. - for example, with my cat totem you've seen, I focused on two things special to each cat, like with Gus - insects, and with Molly - fish,

you get the picture.

I like to show him the posts that concern him and he is so touched that people he doesn't know or even met are so kind to him and speak about him like he was family. He gets tears in his eyes when he reads some of the posts about him and I am so thankful to have such wonderful and caring friends.  in response to Anora Eldorath...   Reply to Anora:---Thankyou so much for all the good advice I use sea salt now and have for the last few years but I have to try to go salt free as well as fat free. He is doing well considering he could have died 10 days ago or had a stroke that he couldn't recover from. But thank God he is healing and the plaque in his arterys is shrinking and he is almost totally recovered from the stroke. It appears the universe still wants him aroind and no one is more thankful than I. Sincerely sheshe030

Good luck hun! I wish your Kevin a speedy recovery. I'm not sure if your doc's think it's ok but we've switched to Sea Salt when the hubby needs something more than herbs. I use a lot of herbs though, so I never have to use more than a pinch of the sea salt. I also stopped cooking with oils save a tablespoon of olive oil if needed. Most of the stuff I do now I bake or grill on the grill or the Forman grill. Get rid of all that processed food too, if you can. And take out the HFCS. That will knock a lot of that other icky stuff right out! Our friend who has heart issues went to all organic and said he's noticed quite a difference, but he still sneaks in the ocassional Doritos lol.

I know you love to defat more of his diet as you explain to me about the butter but think he can eat loads of fruits and veggies which are great for him too and it makes him hang around more...Ok opps oh heck many know are real names by now at least the regulars love you Starshine....

Doc told Kevin that this heart attack was directly from a diet of to much fat and salt as well as no exercise and he didn't make any bones about it so back I go to my kitchen to defat it even more. thanks again Patti oops, Starshine
